1. Nature of the service

La Rifa is a software as a service (SaaS) platform for managing and automating raffles: number assignment, status tracking, and proof-of-payment records. La Rifa does not run drawings, is not a gambling operator, and does not process the money from ticket sales.

2. Organizer responsibility

The organizer user is the sole legal party responsible for the raffle they run and for complying with regulations applicable in their jurisdiction (charitable activities, fundraisers, local permits, etc.). Money from ticket sales is collected directly between buyer and organizer (for example via Nequi, Daviplata, or cash), outside the platform. A raffle is advertised in the currency the organizer picks when creating it, and that currency does not change once the raffle is published: La Rifa neither converts currencies nor touches that money.

3. Software fees

La Rifa charges exclusively for use of the software (free plans and per-event paid plans). The plan is charged in Colombian pesos if your account country is Colombia, and in US dollars otherwise. The price you see is the final price, taxes included: in Colombia that price includes 19% VAT. The payment is processed through the Bold gateway and enables the raffle to be published. These charges do not constitute intermediation in gambling.

4. Acceptable use

Using the platform for unlawful activities, fraud, impersonation, or any purpose contrary to Colombian law or to the law applicable in the organizer country is prohibited. La Rifa may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

5. Limitation of liability

La Rifa is offered "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for disputes between organizers and buyers, nor for the raffle actually being carried out, which is the organizer's sole responsibility.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, whatever country the platform is used from.
